The mere difference in the years of experience in the industry between these two actors calls for respect from Preity Zinta for Anil Kapoor. The latter was in his talkative best on this week's episode of Up, Close and Personal with PZ as he was on a spree of revealing one secret after the other. But what he wasn't prepared for was the strange remarks of Preity on Anil's career.

Preity went on to tell Anil that he works in such big banner movies but what is sad to see is that he is barely seen in those movies. The gentleman that he is he took the remark in his stride and moved on to talk about other things.

Talking about his Hollywood calling with actor-anchor Preity Zinta on her show, the 51-year-old actor said, “It all began with Danny Boyle even though I heard many actors turned down Slumdog; some actors even refused to acknowledge Danny’s repeated calls or messages. I took up the role and from then there has been no looking back. And now its Mission Impossible. Though, I have a small cameo in the film, I am sure that over a period of time I will make it to the bigger roles.”

Talking about the perks of being part of Hollywood, Kapoor joked and said, “It gives me a chance to romance younger women, take for example Paula Patton, who is 23, and I am starred opposite her in Mission Impossible. Also, now I wish to marry at least two-three more women and flirt with many.”

On the peak of his acting career now, Kapoor did not have the same plans for his three children. But now that daughter Sonam Kapoor has already made a mark in Bollywood, he said, “I didn’t want my daughter to go through what I had to. But now she’s here and I have no other option but to accept her choice.”

On her show, Up, Close and Personal with PZ on UTV Stars, when Preity asked him what he would be if he wasn’t a actor, he said, “I have always wanted to be an anchor on television. So I would do that. And I was to be reborn again I would love to be Anna Hazare.”

On the lighter side, Preity quizzed Anil on his immense popularity and his Jhakaas style of acting that he is most known for. A father of three, Anil confessed that he doesn't give advice to his kids especially Sonam as he likes them to learn things with their own experience. Also speaking on his international endeavors he said that he's currently a newcomer in Hollywood and is sure that he will eventually make it big there.

Striking the humor chord, in the impromptu scene act Anil played the role of a sleazy and desperate fan who is on seated next to a Bollywood superstar in an airplane.

Up CLose and Personal with PZ - Bobby Deol Episode Full HQ

Old friends and co-stars from their Soldier days, watch Bobby Deol open up and speak his heart out in this episode of Up Close and Personal with PZ. Watch all the fun happen and masti take place right here on UTVStars HD.

It seems to be a rerun of actors Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone episode, when they ganged up on actor Ranbir Kapoor on a chat show, except this time it’s actors Preity Zinta and Bobby Deol taking on filmmaker Shekhar Kapur on Preity’s chat show. The actors hinted at being left high and dry by the filmmaker during the making of their debut films.
According to sources present on the sets of the chat show, the editors of the show are now mulling over whether to edit out the portion from the show.

Sources say that Shekhar’s topic came about when Bobby recalled the time when he made his debut in films. “Bobby got very nostalgic when asked about his debut film, Barsaat. He revealed that the film was initially being directed by Shekhar Kapur, but when the film Bandit Queen came his way, he left Barsaat high and dry,” informs a member of
the crew. Reacting to Bobby, Preity also recalled that her debut film Tara Rum Pum Pum too had received the same treatment from the filmmaker.

“It’s such a coincidence na, Bobby? Even your first film was being directed by Shekhar and left half way, and even my first film was being directed by Shekhar and left half way,” she said. Bobby then shot back instantly, “Well, that’s just how Shekhar is!”

Following the debut film hiccups, Barsaat was finally directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, while Preity later went on to make her debut in Mani Ratnam’s Dil Se opposite actor Shah Rukh Khan.
